Thanks for your comment. Though…. I must apologize as I inform you that I am going to disregard everything you have said. Simply because, and again I apologize, I can’t take the words of a twelve year old too seriously. It has nothing to do with you being black. Or for that matter being a woman. But the fact that you said “I don’t appreciate some man talking about my race because that is “RACES.” RACES!!!! are you kidding me!!! That’s funny. And no…. I don’t think black people are dumb. But you are.

Who talks about black race because black is beautiful and im black and don’t appriciate some man talking about my race either cause that is races. You don’t do that cause you can get ganged over stuff like that people! So don’t ever evr ever talk about black people cause you never know what you can get in return!

@ Christian-you clearly don’t know your history love. And FYI, personally, despite all the things white people have done to black people, i wouldn’t like “all white people…to be extinct” as you put it. This is because I don’t blame all white people for things their ancestors did. That’s not fair. I just ask that people (in general) not be ignorant, learn your history, and you have a question, ask it; don’t continue to be ignorant.

I just want to say this once, for the record, everyone else can do with it what they will:

Pointing out the differences between groups of people, even going so far as to draw stereotypical generalizations is not racism. It only becomes racism when those differences are used to justify unequal treatment.

So to the person who said: “I’m not personally offended! lol I think I would probably laugh a lot harder if the author was black…” Having a white person make these observations and post them online does not make said observations any more or less funny than if a black person were posting them. The posts are either funny or they aren’t, their value isn’t derived from the identity of the observer. Whether or not a black person could write better material on this site is besides the point, if the content is funny then skin color of the person who said it shouldn’t really determine how hard you laugh.

Black guys can’t drink anyway they are wasted on two drinks, that’s why all the bars or pubs are 100% White European/English or Irish because they fear looking like a fool.

If they do go out it’s to a Nightclub and sip on JD and coke without the JD HELLO………….

Any black guy with tolerance is not a black guy he is mixed race which is entirely different and have benefited from our genes.

i am black and there are so many things that can be added….Anything TYLER PERRY, rims, leather furniture, do rags, apple bottom jeans or rocawear or FUBU or Dereon or baby phat, family reunions equipped with a t-shirt about the event, church, new and inventive hairstyles for women, more church, big earrings (for women) big diamond stud earrings for men, slang terms such as “ice”, “ballah”,”bling”, don’t be hatin’ and holla!, dropping consonants such as libary (library), pacific (specific), axed (asked), popalate (populate) , oprah, new orleans, howard university, over dressing for class,long flashy nails (for women), collard greens, rapping about their possessions, certain movies friday, soul plane, booty call anything wayans brothers, in living color, BET, chris rock, leather jackets, cropped boots (for ladies), puma shoes, beyonce, rhianna, dark and lovely olive treatment for hair, palmers coco butter lotion, dollar stores, knockoff bags buying them and reselling them, little caesars pizza, gold, expensive electronics….and making fun of white people.

Overall, I think this SBPL and the SWPL site let in a little fresh air. My only observation is that SWPL is satire regarding upper middle class white people, while SBPL targets folks a little lower on the socio-economic ladder. Whatever happened to noblesse oblige. I don’t know, I always get a little uncomfortable when everyone starts snickering at people who live in trailers.

I’m a half black half white female. I’d love to be on the writing staff =] I love racial comedy and find your site hilarious. As a minority in a small mainly white town I’ve found making black jokes is just a good ice breaker. I have a few ideas of things you might like to add to “things black people like”

A. Movies by Tyler Perry
B. Complaining about their child dating a person of another race
C. Complaining about Racism (irony =])
D. Maxwell the musician (im amazed by how few white people have heard of him)
E. Making references to slavery when asked to do something by a white person.
